Why teams switch

Built for the people who ask the questions

Most analytics tools are built for the people who answer them. Axiom closes that gap, so the person with the question is the person who gets the answer.

Ask in plain language

"Which regions lost revenue last quarter, and why?" Axiom writes the query, shows you the SQL it generated, and explains the result in a sentence.

Connect in minutes

Postgres, Snowflake, BigQuery, Stripe, HubSpot and thirty more. Point Axiom at a source and it maps the schema for you.

Answers that travel

Every chart carries its definition. Share one and the recipient sees exactly how the number was calculated — no more duelling spreadsheets.

Alerts that mean something

Set a threshold once. Axiom watches it, tells you when it breaks, and includes the three most likely causes.

Governed by default

Row-level permissions inherited from your warehouse, SSO, audit logs, and a full query history nobody can quietly edit.

An escape hatch for analysts

Drop into raw SQL whenever you want, version your models in git, and keep the generated queries under review.

How it works

Three steps, about ten minutes

No implementation project, no professional services engagement, no six-week onboarding.

1

Connect a source

Authenticate your warehouse or a SaaS tool. Axiom reads the schema, infers relationships and suggests the metrics worth tracking.

2

Ask a question

Type what you want to know. Review the generated query if you care to, or just read the answer if you do not.

3

Put it somewhere useful

Pin it to a board, schedule it to Slack every Monday, or embed it in the tool your team already has open.

Which regions lost revenue last quarter, and why?

Generated query

SELECT region, SUM(net) AS revenue
  FROM orders
 WHERE quarter = '2026-Q2'
 GROUP BY region
 ORDER BY revenue ASC

Answer

Two of six regions were down.

  • North−14.2%
  • Iberia−6.8%
  • DACH+9.1%

North fell on one account churning in May. Iberia is seasonal — the same dip shows in 2025.

What changed after switching

Our analyst used to spend two days a week answering the same six questions. Now the people asking them just look it up themselves, and she works on things that actually need her.

Dana Whitfield Head of Operations, Northwind

The thing that sold me was seeing the generated SQL. I do not have to trust a black box — I can read exactly what it ran and tell my auditors the same thing.

Arno Fischer Finance Director, Belmont

We had four dashboards that disagreed with each other. Axiom made us define the metric once. The arguments stopped that week.

Questions

Before you sign up

No. Axiom is designed for the case where you do not have one, or where the one you have is overloaded. If you do have analysts, they tend to use the SQL editor and let everyone else use plain language.

Axiom queries your warehouse directly and caches only the results you pin. Nothing is copied into a separate store unless you explicitly ask for a materialised view, and you can delete those at any time.

You see it before you trust it. Every answer shows the query that produced it, and you can correct the query or the underlying metric definition so the same mistake does not happen twice.

That is the usual path. Most teams connect one source, answer one recurring question, and expand from there. There is no minimum seat count and no annual commitment on the starter plan.

Per editor, not per viewer. People who only read dashboards are free on every plan, so sharing an answer never costs you more. Full details are on the pricing page.
